The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is announcing an updated schedule of lane closures on Interstate 15 (I-15) for the ongoing I-15 South Widening Project. These traffic restrictions are necessary for profile grinding, lighting upgrades, and asphalt milling operations. The schedule is subject to change due to weather and other factors.
Nightly (8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) Sunday, July 20 to Tuesday, July 22:
- Northbound I-15 reduced to one lane from Blue Diamond Rd to Warm Springs Rd
- Eastbound Blue Diamond Rd to northbound I-15 flyover road closed
Nightly (8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) Sunday, July 20 to Friday, July 25:
- Northbound I-15 reduced to one lane from Sloan Rd to Starr Ave
- Northbound I-15 reduced to one lane from Silverado Ranch Blvd to Blue Diamond Rd
- Southbound I-15 reduced to two lanes from Starr Ave to St Rose Pkwy
Nightly (8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) Monday, July 21 to Friday, July 25:
- Southbound I-15 reduced to one lane from Warm Springs Rd to Blue Diamond Rd
Nightly (8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) Sunday, July 27 to Friday, August 1:
- Northbound I-15 reduced to one lane from Sloan Rd to Starr Ave

- Southbound I-15 reduced to three lanes from Warm Springs Rd to Blue Diamond Rd (auxiliary lane closed)
- Northbound I-15 reduced to three lanes between Silverado Ranch Blvd and Blue Diamond Rd (auxiliary lane closed)
Motorists should use caution while traveling through work zones, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions. The schedule is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
