The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is announcing updated overnight lane and ramp closures on Interstate 15 (I-15) as part of the ongoing I-15 South Widening Project. The following traffic restrictions are necessary for asphalt milling operations and paving. The schedule is subject to change due to weather and other factors.
Nightly (8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) Sunday, August 10 to Friday, August 15:
- Northbound I-15 reduced to one lane from Sloan Rd to Warm Springs Rd
8:00 p.m. Sunday, August 10 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, August 11:
- Southbound I-15 reduced to one lane from Cactus Ave to Starr Ave
- Cactus Ave on-ramp to southbound I-15 closed
- Eastbound Blue Diamond Rd flyover ramp to northbound I-15 closed
- Southbound I-15 off-ramp to St. Rose Pkwy closed
Nightly (8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) Monday, August 11 to Friday, August 15:
- Southbound I-15 reduced to one lane from Starr Ave to St. Rose Pkwy
Ongoing work:
24/7 through August 2025:
- Southbound I-15 reduced to three lanes from Warm Springs Rd to Blue Diamond Rd (auxiliary lane closed)
Motorists should use caution while traveling through work zones, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions. The schedule is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
