The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is reminding drivers of major traffic impacts this weekend as I-215 undergoes a marathon work weekend for paving operations. This project will improve nearly four miles of I-215 between the I-15 interchange and Windmill Lane.
Marathon Work Weekend: 9:00 p.m. Friday, August 15 to 6:00 a.m. Sunday, August 17:
- Eastbound I-215 reduced to one lane from I-15 to Windmill Ln
- Westbound I-215 reduced to one lane from I-15 to Windmill Ln
- Lane reduction on westbound I-215 begins Saturday, August 16th, at 1:00 a.m.
- Intermittent closure of Windmill Ln on-ramp to eastbound I-215
- Windmill Ln on-ramp to westbound I-215 closed
Nightly (8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.) Sunday, August 17 to Thursday, August 22:
- Eastbound I-215 reduced to two lanes from I-15 to Windmill Ln
- Westbound I-215 reduced to two lanes from Windmill Ln to I-15
7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, to 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 20:
- Eastbound Warm Springs Rd on-ramp to westbound I-215 closed

- Eastbound I-215 off-ramp to Warm Springs Rd closed
- Lane reduction on east and westbound Warm Springs Rd near the I-215 on-ramp reduced lanes

The schedule is subject to change due to weather or other factors. Motorists should use caution while traveling through work zones, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions.
