LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is announcing an updated schedule of traffic restrictions on Interstate 215 (I-215) as part of its 215 Pavement Preservation Project. The following traffic restrictions are required for crumb rubber paving and bridge joint repair. This project will improve nearly four miles of I-215 between the I-15 interchange and Windmill Lane.
Nightly (8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.) Tuesday, September 2 to Thursday, September 4:
- Eastbound I-215 reduced to two lanes from I-15 to Windmill Ln
- Westbound I-215 reduced to two lanes from Windmill Ln to I-15
7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, to 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 3:
- Eastbound Warm Springs Rd on-ramp to westbound 215 closed
- Westbound Warm Springs Rd on-ramp to westbound 215 closed
- Westbound 215 off-ramp to Airport Connector closed
- Southbound Airport Connector to Eastbound 215 closed
- Warm Springs Rd on-ramp to eastbound 215 closed
7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, to 6:00 a.m. Thursday, September 4:
- Westbound Warm Springs Rd on-ramp to westbound 215 closed
- Southbound Airport Connector on-ramp to westbound 215 closed
- Warm Springs Rd on-ramp to eastbound 215 closed
7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 4, to 6:00 a.m. Friday, September 5:
- Westbound Warm Springs Rd on-ramp to westbound 215 closed
- Southbound Airport Connector on-ramp to westbound 215 closed
- Windmill Ln on-ramp to westbound 215 closed
Motorists should use caution while traveling through work zones, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions. The schedule is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
