The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is announcing updated overnight lane and ramp closures on Interstate 15 (I-15) as part of the ongoing I-15 South Widening Project. The following traffic restrictions are necessary for paving, loop detector installation, and manhole adjustments. The schedule is subject to change due to weather and other factors.
Nightly (8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) Sunday, September 7 to Friday, September 12:
- Southbound I-15 reduced to one lane between Warm Springs Rd and Sloan Rd
- I-215 connector ramp to southbound I-15 closed
- Intermittent on and off-ramp closures along southbound I-15 between Blue Diamond Rd and Starr Ave
Nightly (8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) Tuesday, September 9 to Friday, September 12:
- Northbound I-15 reduced to three lanes (inside lane closed) between Cactus Ave and Blue Diamond Rd
Motorists should use caution while traveling through work zones, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions. The schedule is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
