The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is alerting motorists to overnight lane closures on northbound Interstate 15 (I-15) in the heart of the resort corridor as part of ongoing work for the I-15 Tropicana Interchange Project. The following restrictions are necessary to install loop detectors, which are sensors embedded in the pavement that measure traffic low and help manage signals and congestion.

8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 11 to 6:00 a.m. Friday, September 12:

Motorists should use caution while traveling through work zones, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions. The schedule is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
