The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is announcing an updated schedule of traffic restrictions on Interstate 215 (I-215) as part of its 215 Pavement Preservation Project. This project will improve nearly four miles of I-215 between the I-15 interchange and Windmill Lane. The following restrictions are necessary for paving frontage roads and ramps.
7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 2, to 6:00 a.m. Friday, October 3:
- George Crockett Rd from Gilespie St to Bermuda Rd – left lane closure
- Westbound 215 reduced to two lanes from Warm Springs Rd to Airport Connector (SR 171)
- Eastbound Warm Springs Rd on-ramp to westbound 215 closed
- Eastbound 215 off-ramp to Warm Springs Rd closed
8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 5, to 6:00 a.m. Monday, October 6:
- Eastbound 215 off-ramp to Warm Springs Rd closed
- Southbound Airport Connector (SR 171) ramp to Warm Springs Rd closed
- Warm Springs Rd on-ramp to eastbound 215 closed
8:00 p.m. Monday, October 6, to 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 7:
- Eastbound 215 off-ramp to Warm Springs Rd closed
- Southbound Airport Connector (SR 171) to Warm Springs Rd closed
- Short duration (3-hour) ramp closures:
- Windmill Ln on-ramp to eastbound 215
- Windmill Ln on-ramp to westbound 215
- Westbound 215 off-ramp to Windmill Ln
- Westbound 215 off-ramp to Warm Springs Rd
9:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, to 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 8:
- Eastbound 215 off-ramp to Windmill Ln closed
- Windmill Ln on-ramp to eastbound 215 closed
- Short duration (3 Hour) ramp closures:
- Westbound Warm Springs Rd on-ramp to westbound 215
- Warm Springs Rd on-ramp to eastbound 215
- Westbound 215 off-ramp to Airport Connector (SR 171)
- Westbound 215 off-ramp to Las Vegas Blvd
- Eastbound Warm Springs Rd on-ramp to westbound 215
8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 8, to 6:00 a.m. Thursday, October 9:
- Westbound 215 off-ramp to Windmill Ln closed
- Windmill Ln on-ramp to westbound 215 closed
8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 9, to 6:00 a.m. Friday, October 10:
- Eastbound Warm Springs Rd on-ramp to westbound 215 closed
- Eastbound Warm Springs Rd at westbound 215 – right lane closure
Motorists should use caution while traveling through work zones, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions. The schedule is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
