Post Date:10/03/2025 11:50 AM

The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is announcing updated lane and ramp closures on Interstate 15 (I-15) as part of the ongoing I-15 South Widening Project. The following traffic restrictions are necessary for spall repair, overhead sign installation, weigh-in-motion installation, and striping. The schedule is subject to change due to weather and other factors.

Nightly (8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) Sunday, October 5 to Friday, October 10:

  • Northbound I-15 reduced to one lane from Sloan Rd to Cactus Ave
  • Southbound I-15 reduced to one lane from Blue Diamond Rd to Sloan Rd
  • Intermittent on and off-ramp closures along southbound I-15 between Silverado Ranch Blvd and Sloan Rd

8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 5 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, October 6:

  • Northbound I-15 on and off-ramps at Sloan Rd closed
  • Northbound I-15 off-ramp to Starr Ave closed

Motorists should use caution while traveling through work zones, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions. The schedule is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
