The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is announcing an updated schedule of traffic restrictions on Interstate 215 (I-215) as part of its I-215 Pavement Preservation Project. This project will improve nearly four miles of I-215 between the I-15 interchange and Windmill Lane.
8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 12, to 6:00 a.m. Monday, October 13:
- Westbound 215 off-ramp to Warm Springs Rd closed
- Westbound Warm Springs Rd on-ramp to westbound I-215 and northbound Airport Connector (SR-171) closed
- East and westbound Warm Springs Rd at I-215 ramps– right lane closure
8:00 p.m. Monday, October 13, to 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 14:
- Westbound I-215 reduced to two lanes from Warm Springs Rd to Bermuda Rd
- Westbound I-215 off-ramp to Warm Springs Rd closed
- Westbound Warm Springs Rd on-ramp to westbound I-215 and northbound Airport Connector (SR-171) closed
- East and westbound Warm Springs Rd near the westbound I-215 ramps– right lane closure
- Southbound Airport Connector (SR-171) on-ramp to westbound I-215– left lane closure
8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, to 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 15:
- Westbound I-215 reduced to three lanes from Bermuda Rd to Las Vegas Blvd
- Westbound I-215 off-ramp to Las Vegas Blvd closed
- Hidden Well Rd on-ramp from southbound Airport Connector (SR171) to Las Vegas Blvd – left lane closure
- George Crockett Rd near Gilespie St– left lane closure
- North and southbound Gilespie St from Hidden Well Rd to George Crockett Rd– right lane closure
8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, to 6:00 a.m. Thursday, October 16:
- Hidden Well Rd ramp from southbound Airport Connector (SR171) to Las Vegas Blvd– left lane closure
- George Crockett Rd near Gilespie St– left lane closure
- North and southbound Gilespie St from Hidden Well Rd to George Crockett Rd– left lane closure
8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 16, to 6:00 a.m. Friday, October 17:
- Hidden Well Rd ramp from southbound Airport Connector (SR-171) to Las Vegas Blvd–right lane closure
- George Crockett Rd near Gilespie St– left lane closure
- North and southbound Gilespie St at Hidden Well Rd- right lane closure
Motorists should use caution while traveling through work zones, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions. The schedule is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
