The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is announcing updated lane and ramp closures on Interstate 15 (I-15) as part of the ongoing I-15 South Widening Project. The following traffic restrictions are necessary for sealing pavement joints, repairing small concrete sections, sealing drainage areas, installing new overhead signs, and completing electrical work to enhance safety and extend the life of the roadway. The schedule is subject to change due to weather and other factors.
Nightly (8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) Sunday, October 12 to Friday, October 17:
- Northbound I-15 reduced to one lane from Sloan Rd to Blue Diamond Rd
- Southbound I-15 reduced to one lane from Blue Diamond Rd to Sloan Rd
8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 13 to 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 14:
- Blue Diamond Rd on and off-ramps to north and southbound I-15 closed
- Eastbound Blue Diamond Rd on-ramp to southbound I-15 open
- Eastbound Blue Diamond flyover ramp to northbound I-15 open
8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 14 to 5:00 a.m. Thursday, October 16:
- Northbound I-15 reduced to three lanes from Blue Diamond Rd to Warm Springs Rd
Nightly (8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) Wednesday, October 14 to Friday, October 17:
- Eastbound Blue Diamond Rd flyover ramp to northbound I-15 closed
Motorists should use caution while traveling through work zones, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions. The schedule is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
