Overnight Work to Limit Lanes on I-15 Near I-215

Post Date:10/10/2025 1:14 PM

The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will implement a series of overnight ramp closures along Interstate 15 (I-15) near the resort corridor this October to accommodate ongoing maintenance and upgrade work. Drivers should plan for delays on southbound I-15 near I-215 as crews reduce lanes for bridge and electrical improvements. The following restrictions are necessary for manhole and inlet adjustments, loop detector installations, signal upgrades, and bridge deck repairs. All work is weather- and schedule-dependent and subject to change.

Nightly (9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) Monday, October 13 to Wednesday, October 15:

  • Southbound I-15 reduced to one lane at I-215
  • Collector-distributor south I-15 ramp to southbound I-15 reduced to one lane

9:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 14 to 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 15:

  • Tropicana Ave on-ramp to southbound I-15 closed

9:00 p.m. Sunday, October 19 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, October 20:

  • Southbound I-15 off-ramp to East Flamingo closed
  • Flamingo Rd on-ramp to southbound I-15 closed

Motorists should use caution while traveling through work zones, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions. The schedule is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
