The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is announcing an updated schedule of traffic restrictions on Interstate 215 (I-215) as part of its I-215 Pavement Preservation Project. This project will improve nearly four miles of I-215 between the I-15 interchange and Windmill Lane. The following restrictions are necessary for sign replacement, utility work, and permanent striping.
8:00 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, to 6:00 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27:
- Lanes reduced on Hidden Well Rd ramp from southbound Airport Connector (SR-171) to Las Vegas Blvd
- Lanes reduced on north and southbound Gilespie St at Hidden Well Rd
8:00 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, to 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28:
- Westbound Warm Springs Rd on-ramp to westbound I-215 closed
- Lanes reduced on Hidden Well Rd ramp from southbound Airport Connector (SR-171) to Las Vegas Blvd
- Lanes reduced on George Crockett Rd between Las Vegas Blvd and Gilespie St
8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, to 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29:
- Eastbound Warm Springs Rd on-ramp to westbound I-215 closed
- Lanes reduced on westbound I-215 between Warm Springs Rd and Airport Connector
- Westbound I-215 off-ramp to Airport Connector closed
8:00 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, to 6:00 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 30:
- Shoulder closures on east and westbound I-215, near Bermuda Bridge
8:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, to 6:00 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31:
- Westbound I-215 reduced to one lane at Las Vegas Blvd bridge
Motorists should use caution while traveling through work zones, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions. The schedule is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
