Lane Restrictions, Shoulder Closures for I-215 Preservation Project

The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is announcing an updated schedule of traffic restrictions on Interstate 215 (I-215) as part of its I-215 Pavement Preservation Project. This project will improve nearly four miles of I-215 between the I-15 interchange and Windmill Lane.

Daily (6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) Monday, Dec. 1 to Friday, Dec. 5:

  • Intermittent shoulder closures on east and westbound I-215 between I-15 and Airport Connector

8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1:

  • East and westbound Warm Springs Rd reduced to two lanes east of Paradise Rd

10:00 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1 to 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2,

  • Eastbound I-215 reduced to four lanes between Las Vegas Blvd and Airport Connector
  • Eastbound I-215 off-ramp to Airport Connector reduced to one lane

Daily (8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) Tuesday, Dec. 2 to Thursday, Dec. 4:

  • East and westbound Warm Springs Rd reduced to two lanes between Paradise Rd and the westbound I-215 on-ramp

Motorists should use caution while traveling through work zones, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions. The schedule is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
