The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is announcing updated lane and ramp closures on Interstate 15 (I-15) as part of the ongoing I-15 South Widening Project. The following traffic restrictions are necessary for loop detector installations and high-mast lighting improvements. The schedule is subject to change due to weather and other factors.
8:00 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8
- Blue Diamond Rd on-ramp to northbound I-15 closed
- Eastbound Blue Diamond Rd to northbound I-15 flyover will remain open
Nightly (8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) Monday, Dec. 8 and Tuesday, Dec. 9 (2 nights):
- Blue Diamond Rd on-ramp to southbound I-15 closed
8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9 to 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10
- St. Rose Pkwy on-ramp to northbound I-15 closed
8:00 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11 to 5:00 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12
- North and southbound I-15 reduced to one lane between Starr Ave and Sloan Rd
Motorists should use caution while traveling through work zones, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions. The schedule is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
