The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will conduct several routine maintenance activities across southern Nevada in late February and early March. Work includes crack sealing, lighting repairs, sign installation and landscape maintenance.
Motorists should anticipate lane restrictions and plan for minor delays during active work periods.
Daily, 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 24 through Friday, March 6:
- Lane restrictions on northbound and southbound SR-173 between I-11 and U.S. 95 near Boulder City
- On-and off-ramps to I-11 and U.S. 93 within the work zone will also be affected
- Flaggers will be present to direct traffic
- Crews will be conducting crack sealing operations to preserve the roadway surface and extend pavement life
Daily, 4:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 24 through Friday, Feb. 27:
- Shoulder closure and left lane closure on southbound I-11 between Charleston Blvd and Flamingo Rd
- This work supports high mast lighting maintenance
3:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 26:
- Lane restrictions on the southbound Buffalo Dr on-ramp to eastbound SR-613 (Summerlin Pkwy)
- Crews will install additional signage
6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 4:
- HOV (left) lane closure on westbound SR-613 (Summerlin Pkwy) between Buffalo Dr and Town Center Dr
- Crews will perform landscaping maintenance within the corridor
Motorists should use caution while traveling through work zones, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions. The schedule is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
