Overnight Lane, Ramp Closures on I-15 in Southern Las Vegas Valley

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is announcing an updated schedule of overnight lane closures on Interstate 15 (I-15) in the southern Las Vegas Valley. These traffic restrictions are necessary for pavement repairs and roadway signage upgrades. The schedule is subject to change due to weather and other factors.

 5:00 p.m. Sunday, March 15 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, March 16:

  • Northbound I-15 reduced to one lane at Sloan Road interchange
  • Left lane and shoulder of northbound I-15 off-ramp to St. Rose Blvd closed (ramp remains open)
  • Right lane and shoulder of eastbound Blue Diamond Rd on-ramp to southbound I-15 closed
  • Eastbound Blue Diamond Rd flyover ramp to northbound I-15 closed

 5:00 p.m. Monday, March 16 to 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 17:

  • Northbound I-15 reduced to one lane at Sloan Road interchange
  • Two left turn lanes from eastbound Blue Diamond Rd to the northbound I-15 ramp toward the I-215 Airport Connector closed (ramp remains open; traffic can merge left to access ramp)
  • Two left turn lanes from westbound Blue Diamond Rd to Dean Martin Dr closed for approximately 100 feet before the intersection (traffic will merge left to turn)
  • Right lane of eastbound Blue Diamond Rd approaching the northbound I-15 flyover ramp closed (ramp remains open)

 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 17 to 5:00 a.m. Friday, March 20 (Four nights):

  • Northbound I-15 reduced to one lane at Sloan Road interchange
  • Sloan Rd on-ramp to northbound I-15 Sloan Road intermittently closed; traffic detoured to St. Rose Blvd
  • Northbound I-15 off-ramp to Sloan Road intermittently closed; traffic detoured to St. Rose Blvd

 Motorists should use caution while traveling through work zones, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions. The schedule is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
