The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will implement overnight ramp and lane closures on Interstate 11 (I-11)/U.S. 95 as part of the I-11/Flamingo Retaining Wall and Soundwall Reconstruction Project.
These restrictions are necessary to remove the temporary 24-hour traffic control currently in place on southbound I-11. Once work is complete on Thursday, April 2, the interstate will be restored to four general-purpose lanes.
Nightly (8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) Sunday, March 29 through Thursday, April 2 (Four nights):
- Southbound I-11/U.S. 95 off-ramp to Flamingo Rd closed
- Boulder Hwy on-ramp to southbound I-11/U.S. 95 closed
- Southbound I-11/U.S. 95 reduced to two lanes between Boulder Hwy and Flamingo Rd
Motorists should use caution while traveling through work zones, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions. The schedule is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
