AASHTO Product Evaluation and Audit Solutions
APEAS combines the professional and physical resources of the AASHTO member departments in order to evaluate materials, products, and devices of common interest for use in highway and bridge construction. The primary goal of the program is to provide cost-effective evaluations for state DOTs by eliminating duplication of testing and auditing by states and duplication of effort by manufacturers.

FHWA Office of Research Development and Technology
The RD&T program supports research and development to improve safety; the mobility of people and goods; stimulate growth, productiveness, and competitiveness; reduce congestion; improve durability and extend the life of transportation infrastructure, accelerate project delivery, and the transition to a transportation system that provides an equitable approach that serves all road users.

National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP)
NCHRP conducts research in acute problem areas that affect highway planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance nationwide. NCHRP is administered by the Transportation Research Board (TRB) and sponsored by state departments of transportation and AASHTO in cooperation with the FHWA.

Nevada Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP)
In cooperation with FHWA and NDOT, Nevada LTAP bridges the gap between research and local agency practice, serving government and industry partners through training, technical Assistance, workforce development, and workflow solutions.

Research Program and Project Management for Transportation (RPPM)
This site allows the transportation research community to share information and communicate, coordinate, and collaborate on shared issues, allowing the evaluation of research programs, projects, results, and products.

Research in Progress (RiP)
The Transportation Research Board's Research in Progress (RIP) Database contains information on more than 10,000 current or recently completed transportation research projects. RIP records primarily consist of projects funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation and state departments of transportation. University transportation research is also included in the RIP database.

ROSA-P
ROSA P is the National Transportation Library's Repository and Open Science Access Portal. Founded as an all-digital library program, the collections in ROSA P are full-text digital publications, datasets, and other resources. Legacy print materials have been digitized for historic, technical, or national significance. The repository is also designated as the full-text repository for USDOT-funded research under the USDOT Public Access Plan.

Transportation Pooled Fund
In conjunction with FHWA, the Transportation Pooled Fund program is a collaborative resource for state DOTs to combine funding in order to conduct high priority research. The pooling of funds allows participant states to pursue research that may not be possible otherwise.

Transportation Research Board (TRB)
TRB is the premier transportation research organization. Part of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, TRB mobilizes expertise, experience, and knowledge to anticipate and solve complex transportation-related challenges. TRB is comprised of hundreds of specialized committees and subcommittees representing thousands of transportation professionals, especially from state DOTs. It is the parent organization for NCHRP, RiP, and TRID.

TRID
Transport Research International Documentation (TRID) is an integrated database that combines the records from TRB’s Transportation Research Information Services (TRIS) Database and the OECD’s Joint Transport Research Centre’s International Transport Research Documentation (ITRD) Database. TRID provides access to 1.4 million records of transportation research worldwide.

University Transportation Centers (UTC)
U.S. DOT invests in the future of transportation through its University Transportation Centers (UTC) Program, which awards and administers grants to consortia of colleges and universities across the United States. The UTC Program advances the state-of-the-art in transportation research and technology, and develops the next generation of transportation professionals.
