Current Open Solicitations for Research Proposals

The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is soliciting research proposals to address the problem statement below to begin in Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2026 (October 1 through September 30). A REVISED version of the guidelines for preparing proposals for NDOT Research detailing the requirements and evaluation criteria is linked below.

NDOT Research Proposal Guidelines for FFY 2026 (Revised)

Proposals will be accepted through Friday, February 13, 2026, 11:59 PM PST.

Please work directly with NDOT’s Project Champions identified below to develop research proposals. This is an approved part of the proposal process. NDOT Research Program staff can provide assistance in contacting NDOT Project Champions.

One or more research project agreement(s) may or may NOT result from this solicitation. Please note that the detailed scope of proposals may be shaped differently than described in the problem statements after proposing teams work with project champions to better meet the needs of NDOT.
