RIGHT-OF-WAY PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

The Property Management Section is administered through the Right-of-Way Division, located at NDOT headquarters in Carson City, Nevada. We oversee the control and administration of lands and improvements acquired for right-of-way purposes. We also manage those properties not required for NDOT's needs and are subsequently leased or disposed of. 

The Property Management Section provides two main opportunities to the public for the use of NDOT-owned properties:

1.  Surplus Property Sales

2. Authorizations for use of the Right-of-Way (leases and temporary use agreements)

The above links provide information and resources, such as request forms, pertaining to each function. We also maintain an inventory of properties owned by NDOT, and the Right-of-Way Division maintains a GIS-based inventory of the real property rights held by NDOT.
