A procurement is the formal, competitive process the Nevada Department of Transportation uses to obtain the services, expertise, and resources needed to support transportation projects statewide. This process ensures each solicitation is fair, transparent, and compliant with state and federal requirements.
To better serve the public and our partner communities, NDOT conducts procurements through two specialized teams: Agreement Services, which manages professional services and interagency agreements, and Contract Services, which administers construction contracting and bid letting. Together, these teams help deliver safe, reliable, and high‑quality transportation improvements across Nevada.
About Agreement Services
Agreement Services supports NDOT divisions and external partners by managing the full lifecycle of professional service procurements and agreements. The team guides programs through Requests for Proposals and Requests for Quotes, coordinates negotiations, drafts and finalizes agreements, and supports execution and closeout.
Their mission is to run fair, transparent processes that align with Nevada statutes and federal regulations while helping NDOT secure the most qualified service providers.
About Contract Services
Contract Services administers NDOT’s low‑bid construction contracting process. The team ensures highway construction projects are advertised, bid, and awarded openly and competitively in accordance with all regulatory requirements.
By managing bid letting and contractor coordination, Contract Services helps NDOT deliver safe, efficient, and high‑quality transportation infrastructure across the state.
